Prior to co-founding Astoria, Fabio was a partner at Singular, a leading Brazilian M&A boutique, where he had worked for 13 years, mainly responsible for originating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions in real estate, healthcare and education. Prior to Singular, Fabio worked in the finance department of Hope, one of the Brazilian leaders in women’s intimate apparel.
Fábio has a B.A. in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP-FGV).
Prior to co-founding Astoria, Michael was a Director and Head of M&A and Business Development at Grupo Pão de Açúcar and Groupe Casino (its controller) in Brazil, the largest food and non-food retailer in the country. From 2004 until 2011, he was partner at Singular, responsible for originating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions in retail, healthcare, real estate, education and oil & gas. Prior to Singular, Michael worked in the investment banking team of Bank of America in Brazil from 1999 to 2003 with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
Michael has a B.A. in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP-FGV) and a M.Sc. from London Business School.
Marcos is a Partner and Co-Founder of Astoria and Loyall Investimentos, a multi-family office and asset management. Prior, he worked as Commercial Director of key clients of UBS Pactual’s wealth management division and Retail Products Director at Citibank. He began has career in 1990 at Citibank and also heldv relevant positions at Becton Dickinson and Co., Banco Matrix and Banco Santander.
Marcos has a B.A. in Business Administration from University of São Paulo (USP) and a MBA by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
Guilherme is a senior associate of Astoria. Previously, he worked for 5 years at Barclays’ Investment Banking division focusing on M&A and capital markets projects in telecom, mining, power, retail, consumer, among other sectors. He started his career in 2008 at Citibank and had relevant experiences in private equity and strategic consulting.
Guilherme holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP-FGV) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
